| Governor briefs President | |  Jammu, September 01, (Scoop News)- Shri N. N. Vohra, Governor of J&K, briefed the President, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, regarding all important issues relating to the State. The President, on a two day visit to the State, presided over the 14th Convocation of the Jammu University today afternoon.
The Governor particularly briefed the President about the obtaining and emerging internal and external security situation, status of various important Socio-economic development schemes and programmes, issues of governance and the challenges facing the education and health sectors. Sh. Vohra also informed Rashtrapati ji about issues relating to higher education and functioning of the Universities in the State.
