Jugal , Nirmal visit Sunderbani, other areas
Jammu, September 16, (Scoop News)- Continuing their efforts to reach out to the flood victims, BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma and BJP Election Campaign Committee Chairman Dr. Nirmal Singh, visited various areas of Sunberbani, Nowshera and Kalakot in order to express full solidarity and be with them in this hour of tragedy that has befallen them and extend support and relief.
Both the leaders also visited Laam area of Nowshera to take part in Bhog ceremony of the people who lost their lives in the floods due to washing away of a marriage bus.
During their visits, Jugal Kishore Sharma and Dr Nirmal Singh held meetings with the senior officials of the District Administration including SDM, Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar and others. They also chaired a meeting of party activists at Sunderbani and asked them to extend their fullest support and efforts for the relief and rescue operations conducted by the army and other concerned agencies. Jugal Kishore Sharma and Dr. Nirmal Singh also visited the families of deceased persons who lost their lives and expressed their fullest solidarity with them and prayed for the peace to the departed soul.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while terming the recent flash floods unprecedented said that in this hour of crisis BJP led central government and State BJP leadership stand with them and all possible measures would be taken for their complete rehabilitation. “Being the representative of Jammu-Poonch parliamentary constituency, he is duty bound to extend all kinds of assistance and help”, he said and further mentioned that role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in recent flash floods is appreciable and Central Govt is taking all possible measures which is reflected from the fact that army has been deployed on a large scale and massive rescue and relief operation undertaken without wasting any time besides disbursement of a massive funds under Prime Minister Relief Funds to the State.
Dr Nirmal Singh, while assuring every possible help to the people from party, said that he is very much aware about the post floods pain and suffering of the affected people and hence is personally raising the issue for their early rehabilitation with the local administration and since Centre has given liberal relief funds for the affected people of Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP leadership will assure that relief should be disbursed to the affected without any delay and favour or discrimination. He expressed hope that the families which have suffered the losses of their kiths and kins, will come out of grief and start the normal life again.
Both the leaders also appreciated the role of Army, Indian Air force and NDRF in conducting massive relief and rescue operations.
Among others who accompanied Jugal Kishore Sharma and Dr Nirmal Singh included Chander Mohan Gupta, Capt. Ramesh Lal, Vishwinder Dev Sharma, S.S. Bijral, Ravinder Raina, Sushil Sudan, Vinod Sharma, Jarnail Singh and Ashok Sharma.
