JIAR donates Rs One Lakh to J&K Flood Victims
Dr Roop Lal Sharma handovers the cheque to VC JU

Jammu, September 23, (Scoop News)- Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR) today came forward to help the victims of J&K Flood devastation and donated rupees One Lakh for them through Vice Chancellor of Jammu University. Understanding the plight of thousands of hapless people who lost everything including their near and dear ones in the recent flash floods in Jammu and Kashmir, Dr Roop Lal Sharma, Chairman, Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR) today donated rupees one lakh on behalf of JIAR for the welfare of flood victims.


Dr Sharma who called on the Vice Chancellor of University of Jammu Prof Mohan Pal Singh Ishar presented a cheque of rupees one lakh to him requesting him to forward the same to the government for the welfare of the flood victims. Dr Sharma said that JIAR and its affiliate colleges were with the flood victims in this hour of grave crisis and offered the amount as their contribution to help them rebuild their lives once again. Dr Sharma hoped that more people will come forward with the donations so that the flood victims are rehabilitated properly adding it was the duty of every citizen to come forward and help the government in its endeavour to mitigate the miseries of the flood victims.
