NSUI for postponing of annual exams at Kishtwar | | Kishtwar, , October 18, (Scoop News)- The National Students Union of India ( NSUI) Unit Kishtwar gave full support to students of various institutes of Kishtwar including boys and girls higher secondary which are demanding to immediate revoke of orders made by authorities regarding postponed of exams. Hundreds of students along with NSUI activists from different institutes held a strong protest rally from different educational institutes to the District Development Commissioner office not to postpone the exams of Chenab region. Students said that they are fully prepared for exams but the decision made by officials to postponed the exams will spoil the future and precious year of the students. NSUI District President Kishtwar Prakash Singh Dadwal while addressing the gathering claimed that government is always treating the students of Chenab valley step motherly and even every decision is taken on the condition based upon Jammu or Kashmir division and Chenab region is always neglected. He added that they are with the students of Kashmir , not only students of Chenab region but also students of Kashmir region are also not happy with the the decision. If government rally want to help the students of kashmir syllabus should be reduced and grace marks should be given to victims of flood and special arrangements of exams should be made and not to spoil the future of Chenab region students. He threaten that if government fail to resolve this issue NSUI will continue the protest. The protest dharna, however, called off on the assurance of DDC Kishtwar that he will convey the genuine demand of students up to higher up authorities for redressal and accordingly division will be taken.
