| Army takes 19 elderly Buddhists on pilgrimage to Bodh Gaya | | and Kolkata | 
Leh (Ladakh), October 27, (Scoop News)_A tour to Bodh Gaya and Kolkata has been organized for a group of 19 senior citizens of Ladakh region by Army’s Patiala Brigade under the aegis of Trishul Division from October 27 to November 9, a defence spokesman said on Monday .
The excursion, he said, was flagged off by Commander Patiala Brigade.
According to the spokesman, the aim of this excursion, organized as a part of operation Sadbhavana, was to provide an insight to Buddhist
culture and customs prevalent in other parts of the country.
The senior citizens have expressed deep gratitude for the initiative and look forward to the tour.
