Vote for improved amenities, quality life with social security: Malhotra
Jammu, November 25, (Scoop News)-Reiterating his promise to develop Jammu East assembly segment as a ‘Model Constituency’ for the entire state, Congress candidate for the ensuing assembly polls, Vikram Malhotra today said that he will carry forward the development works in the constituency and ensure that people get improved amenities and better quality life with security on all fronts.

Raising the point, during his election campaign tours in the localities of Dalpatia Mohalla, Bikram Chowk and bye-lanes adjoining DC Office, Malhotra appealed the residents to vote for him and enable him carry forward the development works undertaken by him.

He informed that he was working actively in Jammu East constituency for the last four years and have spent Rs 4.5 crore on development in all the 11 wards of the constituency, which includes repairs and construction of lanes and drains, tiling work of lanes, building community centres, to establish electric transformers as per the need of the area, to improve water supply schemes of PHE and to improve the basic infra structure of the schools for better future of students.

Vikram added that Congress has always strived for a better Jammu and Kashmir with extending amenities to all without discriminating on the basis of religion, region or roots.

Reiterating his call to remain vigilant against parties and leaders who were busy in selling dreams that could never be realized, Vikram appealed to electorate for strengthening the hands of Congress to ensure long lasting development and growth prospective. He also highlighted the initiatives and roadmap of development in offing and also the steps which his party will incorporate in the coming days to lead J&K on the path of progress and prosperity.

He also said that, focusing on the issues pertaining to the youth, the aged and destitute will be his priority.

Vikram was accompanied by a large number of his supporters, Congressmen, locals and elderly people from the vicinity who were seen shouting slogans in favour of Malhotra.
