| World Disability Day observed at Udhampur | | Udhampur, December 19, (Scoop News)-To mark World Disability Day, Chief Education Officer, Udhampur, Balbir Singh today flagged-off a rally from Mini Stadium, Udhampur which after passing through Gole Market, Chabutra Bazar, Sailen Talab, Hospital road and Ramnagar Chowk culminated at Town Hall Udhampur.
Large number of students drawn from various schools of Udhampur and Jib Zones participated in the rally.
While highlighting the aim for organizing the rally, the CEO said that the motive of the rally was to spread a message for removing barriers to create an inclusive and accessible society for all.
A cultural programme was also presented by the differently abled students which were highly appreciated by the audience.
Later, prizes were also distributed among the participants.
