Dr. Jitendra adopts 4th village in 7 months

Jammu, January 30, (Scoop News)-To improve the lot of most downtrodden and economically weaker sections of the society is the sacrosanct vision and goal of the BJP, said Union MoS in PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh while addressing a press conference at Jammu on Thursday Dr. Jitendra Singh.
Dr. Singh, after having adopted Shangli, Saddal and Humble villages of Kathua, Udhampur and Doda districts respectively, announced that “he is now adopting Bhattan village of Kishtwar district also for special development efforts”. He praised the local MLA of Kishtwar Sunil Sharma for his efforts in identifying this village to be taken up for special development. “The said village on being brought into my notice by Sunil Sharma has been found to be actually very backward, without any normal facilities of health, education and electricity. More than ninety five percent of the population is BPL and thus imminently suited for being adopted for special development effort on the part of the government” said Dr. Jitendra.
The MP from Kathua-Udhampur-Doda parliamentary constituency, who adopted Bhattan as 4th village during a short period of just seven months, said that the Narendra Modi led government at the centre is committed to make special efforts for improving the lot of most backward villages in whole of the country and this adoption of Bhattan by him forms part of that agenda.
Dr. Jitendra Singh further said that where ever and whenever any genuine requirement of the public is brought to his notice he will see to it that the same is attended on priority basis.
BJP State Vice President Ramesh Arora, MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma and BJP State Spokesperson & State Press Secretary Balbir Ram Rattan were also present in the press conference.
