| Herbert joins Khyber Himalayan Resort, Gulmarg as GM | | 
Gulmarg{Kashmir),January 30, (Scoop News)- Sujith Herbert joins the Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa, Gulmarg from the JHM Interstate India Hotels & Resorts, where he was General Manager- India Head.
In his earlier assignments, he has also served successfully in different capacities at Hilton, Delhi, Danat Hotels & Resorts in Abu Dhabi, Accor Hotels in Dubai and Le Meridien Mina Seyahi in Dubai. During his tenure at JHM Interstate India Hotels & Resorts, he played an instrumental role in revenue management and e- distribution.
Having spent almost 21 years in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in revenue management, Sujith holds a degree in Hotel Management & Accommodation Operation from the Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa and a graduate degree in Economics from Calicut University.
In his capacity as the General Manager of the property, he will oversee all aspects of Property Management in accordance with Company mission statement, including maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. The Khyber recently crowned as the Favorite Boutique Hotel at the Conde Nast Traveller India Readers’ Travel awards 2014 and Best Luxury ski hotel in Asia at World luxury Hotel Awards 2014. He brings with him a wealth of experience and natural ability to identify and capitalize upon opportunities to maximize business.
