| LSRC lifts Ice Hockey Championship 2015 trophy | | 
Leh,February 05, (Scoop News)-The first Ice Hockey Championship 2015 trophy was lifted by the Ladakh Scout Regimental Centre (LSRC) Red team beating the ITBP in the final match by a score of 0-3 goals today.
DC, Leh Saugat Biswas, the chief guest on the occasion gave away the winner and runners up prizes to the respective teams. Besides, a coupon of Rs.10000 each was also presented to 10 best players of the tournament.
He said, “I’m aware that the game of ice-hockey is very important and popular in this region and also of the challenges in terms of proper equipment and gear which are met to a great extend by various NGOs.” He gave assurance to take all the possible steps to promote this game taking along the stakeholders during his tenure.
The tournament was organized by Ladakh Winter Sport Club, Leh and sponsored by Harish Bargava of Letsleh.com. A total of 10 teams namely Lalok, Skara, Chuchot, Domkhar, LSRC-Red, LSRC-Blue, ITBP, Ex-servicemen, Ibex Warriors and Devils Hockey teams participated in the tournament.
