| Parrikar and LE Drian decide to set up teams to work out details in a time bound manner | | New Delhi, May 6, (Scoop News Bureau)-Defence Minister of France, LE Drian, Wednesday met his Indian counterpart Manohar Parrikar, at the federal capital, a senior defence official said.
He said the two Defence Ministers discussed modalities in order to reach an early conclusion of an Inter-Governmental Agreement and decide on the way forward in this regard.
"The two sides decided to set up teams to work out the details in a time bound manner", the official said.
The meeting took place in the light of joint statement issued last month during the Indian Prime Minister's visit of the Republic inter-alia included acquisition of 36 Refale jets in fly away conditions, through an inter governmental agreement.
