| DDC Anantnag reviews Mehraj- ul- Alam (SAW) arrangements | | Anantnag, May 06 (Scoop News)-District Development Commissioner, Anantnag Bashir Ahmad Khan today reviewed the arrangements for ensuing Mehraj- ul- Alam (SAW) while chairing a high level meeting in which SSP, SDM Pahalgam, SE Hydraulic, SE M&RE, SE R&B, Chief Medical officer, Deputy Director Fire & emergency services, AD food, ARTO, Executive officers of MC Bijbehara & Sirigufwara besides presidents of Awaqaf Boards of Anantnag, Kabamarg, Khiram Sirhama and Seer Hamdan participated.
District Development Commissioner, directed all officers to complete the necessary arrangements before time. He directed for ensuring un-interrupted power and drinking water supply, repairement of faulty roads, installation of first aid Centres, generator sets, water tankers and special drive for cleanliness in and around the places especially Anantnag, Kabamarg, Seer Hamdan and Khiram Sirhama .
Assistant Director CAPD was directed to make available the necessary ration supply throughout the district and especially at above mentioned places besides making available the additional ration quota at these places. Chief Medical officer Anantnag was directed for ensuring establishment of first aid centres and making available the Ambulance services at these places. Executive officers of Municipal Committees were directed to ensure the cleanliness & proper sanitation by organizing special drives.
Tehsildars were directed to assist CAPD officers in checking the black marketing and stopping the artificial scarcity of eatables. ARTO was directed to ensure the availability of proper transport facilities leading to the sacred places. F&ES officers were also instructed to keep ready the fire tenders to meet any exigency at these places.
District Development Commissioner, directed all the concerned to work in close co-ordination so that every arrangement is kept in place before time.
