| Governor and CUK Chancellor exchange experiences | | 
Srinagar,May 21 (Scoop News)-Prof. Kumar Banerjee, noted nuclear scientist and Chancellor of Central University of Kashmir (CUK), met Governor, N.N. Vohra, who is Chancellor of the Central University of Jammu (CUJ), here at the Raj Bhavan today. He was accompanied by Prof. Mehraj-ud-Din, Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Kashmir.
Prof. Banerjee discussed with the Governor the infrastructural difficulties being faced in the development of CUK because of the high ground water level in the area in which the new University Campus is coming up in district Ganderbal. The two Chancellors also exchanged views and experiences about the larger issues and challenges which are being faced in the advancement of higher education in J&K. For ensuring rapid and balanced growth of the Central Universities, the two Chancellors agreed that all necessary steps should be taken to advance collaborations between the two Central Universities and the other State and private Universities to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
