| District Police Leh organizes Operation Julley | |
Leh,, May 28 (Scoop News)-District Police Leh under Operation Julley today organised police and police functioning Exposure-cum- Orientation tour to police Station, Leh, police post Housing colony and police women Help-line cell, Leh with the aim to understand the policing activities of police department and built better relation between police and community.
74 senior students of Ladakh Public School, Leh visited the police Units. SSP, Leh Dr.Sunil Gupta, Addl. S.P T. Gyalpo and other police officers briefed the students about the policing, crimes and responsibility of citizens and common people. They apprised to the students to be law abiding citizens so as to curb and eradicate social evils and documents and basic law of the land which has to be abided by each and every citizen. Students were taken to the youth club established by police within the police station, Leh complex and asked to take benefit out of it.
District police , Leh has been organizes such activities with the aim to make students community to aware about the prevailing social evils such as violations of traffic rules, various crimes basics of policing, role of common people to co-operate the police in policing to curb such crimes and to open debate on such issues within the community and at homes.
The student who attended the exposure tour thanked the SSP Leh for organizing such programme, which is a may prove great help for the students to improve their knowledge.
