| BJP leaders indulging in land grabbing:SRS | |
Jammu, October 7 (Scoop News)-Accusing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders of indulging in land grabbing in Jammu region, State President, Shri Ram Sena(SRS), Rajiv Mahajan today asked if BJP would look into the cases of alleged land grabbing by other leaders first he will take action Party leaders too.
In a statement issued today, Rajiv Mahajan said it is ironical that some of the BJP leader themselves grabbed forest land in Sunjwan and encroached Nallah at Gangyal.
Shri Ram Sena demands from BJP to suspend those leaders from the party who are indulging in land grabbing.
Rajiv told that few days back one Jagdish Raj Gupta of Sarwal told that he has registered land in Gangyal near Nallah but one of the BJP leader constructed illegal building on Gangyal Nallah but the revenue authorities didn’t touch that illegal building the authority convert Nallah into Jagdish Raj Gupta registered land and secondly one more land grabber today in front of local daily newspaper published for Sunjwan Forest Land.
He sought stern action would be taken against those indulging in land grabbing. He said that several land grabbing cases were expose by the people but no steps had been taken by the State Government to investigate them.
He said functionaries of several parties were supporting persons who indulged in such acts. Incidents of land grabbing could be curbed if the leaders of political parties stayed away from such elements, he added.
Rajiv Mahajan told BJP to investigate the whole episode within at the earliest otherwise Shri Ram Sena activists come on the street and will hold massing agitation against the BJP.
