Burglary gang busted in Budgam
Gold worth Rs.5 lacs, stolen vehicles recovered

Srinagar, November 26 (Scoop News)-Budgam police arrested a three member burglary gang and recovered stolen gold worth Rs.5 lacs and two vehicles on their instance.
From past few months, Police Post Humhama was receiving burglary complaints regarding breaking into of houses by unknown persons during daytime and stealing of gold and cash.
To curb this trend and to solve these cases, SSP Budgam Shri Fayaz Ahmad Lone constituted a special anti-burglary team under the supervision of Dy. SP Hqrs Budgam Shri Mohammad Aslam headed by SHO Police Station Budgam Inspector Nisar Ahmad Mir and In-charge Police Post Humhama SI Rabinder Singh.
The investigating team succeeded in busting a three-member gang. Those who have been arrested are Mushtaq Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Qadir Dar resident of Naryanbagh Ganderbal, Abdul Hamid Malik son of Ghulam Mohammad Malik resident of Saidapora Eidgah Srinagar and Abdul Gani Pujoo son of Abdul Rehman Pujoo resident of Sultanpora Sumbal.
The arrest of trio led to the recovery of gold worth rupees five Lac and 02 stolen vehicles. Further investigating is going on in this regard.
