Srinagar, February 13 (Scoop News)-Four militants and two security personnel were killed and and four others including an officer were injured in fierce gun battle with militants in Marsari village of Chowkibal border area in north Kashmir's Kupwara district on Saturday morning, police officer said.
He said that the house in which the militants were holed up has been destroyed in the operation.
Security forces including Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operations Group (SOG) of state police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) surrounded a house in Marsari village last evening on information that a group of militants were hiding there.
