| Police launches sanitation-cum-cleanliness drive in Baramulla | |
Srinagar, May 02 (Scoop News)- In its efforts to improve the level of cleanliness and sanitation a “Sanitation-cum-Cleanliness Drive” was launched by Police in Baramulla.
About 250 officers and Jawans of Baramulla Police joined the drive and cleared tons of garbage from the town. Roads, lanes by lanes were cleaned besides; choking drains were cleared of solid waste.
The drive is aimed to create awareness among the people about the importance of keeping the surroundings clean.
DIG North Kashmir, Uttam Chand and DC Baramulla, Ms Yasha Mudgal also joined the drive.
This endeavor of Baramulla police will continue and general public of Baramulla is also expected to join in the effort in future in keeping the town clean.
