Er Rasheed confronts BJP legislatures
Says Omar Abdullah’s today’s speech in Assembly has no takers.

Srinagar, May 27 (Scoop News)-AIP Supremo and MLA Langate ER Rasheed had exchange of heated arguments with BJP MLAs who used abusive language against him and Hurriyat leaders during their speeches on Governor’s address.

While BJP state president Satpal Sharma and Ravindar Raina in their speeches claimed J&K to be India’s integral part, Er Rasheed objected and said that J&K is neither India’s integral part nor Pakistan’s jugular vein. Er Rasheed confronted government on various issues including rehabilitation of families who returned from Pakistan via Nepal and alleged that their life has been made a hell and they don’t get even state subjects, passport or the basic amenities of life.

He accused government of ruining their lives. Er Rasheed added that Hurriyat conference represented the sentiments and aspirations of Kashmiri people and objected strongly to Ravindar Raina’s remarks calling Hurriyat leaders brokers.

He said that yesterday’s strike should act as an eye-opener for the MLAs and they should know what Kashmiris want. Er Rasheed also lashed out at NC members and said that whatsoever Omar Abdullah spoken in the Assembly is absolutely true but it doesn’t carry any meaning or weight, as he did himself even worst when he was in power, as such his speech in the Assembly has no takers.

Er Rasheed lashed out at government and accused that it has ignored the sufferings of Kashmiri people and is creating controversies only to go them defensive but Kashmiris will never surrender for their legitimate rights.
