| 'Siachen Sentinels' holds medical cum veterinary camp at Terisha village in Nubra valley | | 
Nubra, June 25, (Scoop News)-A Medical cum veterinary camp was organized at Terisha village in Nubra valley under the aegis of Army's Siachen sentinels of Fire and Fury Corps .
The aim of the camp was to extend medical care to the local population by providing quality medical assistance by Army doctors . The veterinary care for the cattle was provided by veterinary doctors from Army.
The medical camp was very well received by the villagers and it was appreciated by the local populace. In addition to medical treatment the villagers were also educated on health related issues, hygienic living habits and issues relating to the health of their cattle.
A large number of elderly men, women and children availed the medical treatment provided as part of ‘OP SADBHAVANA’. An adhoc dispensary was also set up for the camp.... |
