| BJP leaders to address Lawyers convention | |
Jammu, July 28 (Scoop News)-BJP Law & Legal Affairs Department is organizing “One day Convention” at Jammu on July 30, 2016 at state office Trikuta Nagar, in which a large number of prominent lawyers from across the state associated with the party will participate.
BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma will preside over the one day convention while Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, Former Union Minister and presently National Convenor BJP Law & Legal Affairs Department Jagdeep Dhankar will be chief guest, MoS Law & Parliamentary Affairs, J&K, Ajay Nanda will be Guest of Honour and Senior Advocate & BJP State Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi will be the main speaker.
The Convention is being organized with an objective of bringing together the like minded lawyers / legal experts on a common platform and make them aware of the programmes and policies of the BJP besides seeking their suggestions for mobilizing the members of legal fraternity to get associated with the party in large number. According to an official handout, BJP Law & Legal Affairs Department State Convenor Adv. Onkar Seth said that this one day convention will provide an opportunity for closer interaction with the lawyers from different parts of the state, besides those from the centre. He further said that the convention will be spread over a number of sessions and will be addressed by eminent lawyers.
