| Stone pelting leads to road accident;girl dies,her sister injured | |
Srinagar, September 27, (Scoop News)-Stone pelting led to death of a young girl today morning when she alongwith her sister was hit by a vehicle near Parimpora Srinagar. The vehicle was moving backwards and hit the girls as it came under stone pelting by miscreants.
The girls were identified as Ms Fozia and Ms Nadia daughters of Mohammad Sidiq Lone resident of Gulbagh.They were hit by a Cream colour Scorpio near Rogan Gali Parimpora. The driver while moving his vehicle backwards hit the girls as his vehicle was stoned by the miscreants early morning.
The girls were critically injured in the incident. Both the injured were shifted to hospital where elder sister namely Fozia succumbed to her injuries.
A case FIR number 222/16 has been registered and investigation has been taken up.
Meanwhile, one person namely Furqan Hamid Son of Abdul Hamid resident of Zoonimar was injured when miscreants pelted stones on him while he was riding a scooty near Allie Masjid Eidgah, Safa Kadal. He received injury in his head.The injured person has been shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment, where his condition is stable.
