| Police public meets held in South Kashmir | |
Srinagar,February 16, (Scoop News)-&K Police in order to strengthen the police public relations, held two police public meetings in Kulgam and Kokernag, today.
On the directions of SP Kulgam Shri Shridhar Patil, Devsar police held a police public meeting in Police Station Devsar.
A large number of respectable citizens from different villages participated in the meeting which was presided by DySP Shri Nawaz Ahmad, besides SHO Devsar was also present in the meeting. While interacting with the participants, the officers requested them to help the police in eradicating the menace of dugs in the area.
The participants raised some issues during the meeting and were assured by the officers that their problems will be taken up with the concerned authorities for their early redressal. The people were also requested that they should feel free in any case to approach the police for their help.
In Kokernag, the police public meeting was held at Police Post Larnoo, which was chaired by SDPO Kokernag Shri Zahid Aziz Samoon, besides SHO Kokernag Shri Tariq Yousuf and DO Larnoo Shri Tawseef Ahmad were also present during the meet.
Large number of respectable citizens, trade unions, sumo unions participated in the meeting. During the meeting various matters and issues were discussed. The officers present in the meeting assured them for their immediate redressal. the participant were requested to co-operate with police in order to eradicate the social crimes in the area.
