| Tata Consultancy Services conduct job interviews under project ‘Udaan’ | |
Pulwama, February 23, (Scoop News)- To provide job opportunities to the educated youths Army collaborated with the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for job interviews under project ‘Udaan’ on Thursday at Awantipora. A huge turnout of youths from Pulwama, Budgam, Anantnag, Shopian, Ganderbal and Kulgam districts gathered to avail this opportunity. Telephonic interviews of Approx 70 graduates were conducted by the representatives of TCS for which the administrative support was provided by the Army. Candidates selected will undergo training at Kolkata and then be provided employment in various sectors ranging from IT, Software technology, marketing, etc through TCS. Candidates will be paid stipend of Rs 15000/- every month for the first year on successful selection as TCS employee.
TCS Udaan interviews were facilitated by the Army at different locations in the recent past in Kashmir Valley, in which a large number of talented men and women were selected and are presently undergoing training at Kolkata. On interacting with the youth about this project, the youths appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army and appealed to continue the good work with such projects in future too.
