02 policemen injured during leopard rescue in Srinagar

Srinagar, March 19, (Scoop News)- Two policemen were injured when they were rescuing a leopard from a hospital here this evening.

Parimpora police was informed that a leopard has entered in an under construction 200 bed Maternity Hospital adjacent to Haj House Bemina. Following this information a police party alongwith the officals of waildlife department immediately rushed the spot and rescued the leopard. However, two cops idendified as constable Gulzar Ahmad and Habibullah sustained injuries after they were attacked by the leopared during the rescue process.

The injured policemen were shifted to hospital for treatment and the leopard was handed over to Wildlife department .
