| SOS Intl delegation meets Div Com Jammu | |
Jammu, March 20, (Scoop News)- A delegation of S. O. S. International – An Organization for PoK DPs today called upon Dr. Pawan Kotwal IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu under the chairmanship of Rajiv Chuni its Chairman comprising of Prof. J. S. Mangal, Prof. M. M. Sharma, Babu Kewal Ram, Roshan Lal all vice-chairmen, V. K. Datta, Subash Sharma Addl. D. C. Retd., Vijay Guru, Romesh Bali, Sharda Devi, Tilak Raj Sethi and Sanjay Kohli to apprise the Div Com about the difficulties being faced by the PoK Displaced Persons while preparing the documents for filing their claims.
Divisional Commissioner in his office chambers while listening to the problems of PoK DPs almost solved all the demands on spot and assured the delegation that his office will communicate the decisions taken in today’s meeting to all the concerned officers so that disbursement of claims to DPs could be expedited.
The issues related to PoK DPs on which Divisional Commissioner, Jammu gave his consent includes:
In case of Form “A” is not available with any Displaced Person then any one of the following document shall be considered as sufficient proof - Cancellation Register or Loan Ledger or Nominal Roll or Allotment of Land under SRO 578 C.
Legal Heir issued by the concerned Tehsildars shall be accepted.
Will of the original Allottees in favour of daughters/grand daughters etc shall be considered after proper verification.
Adoption deeds of DPs shall be considered after proper verification.
. Photocopies of documents self attested shall be accepted now onwards earlier it was only certified copies from PRO or Dy. PRO.
Photocopies of allotment of Plot or Quarter or copy of Ex. Gratia amount of Rs. 3500/- self attested shall be accepted now onwards earlier it was only certified copies from PRO or Dy. PRO.
Very shortly Tehsil-wise Camps shall be organized for issuing of PRCs and Aadhar Cards on the Spot to PoK DPs who are not having these documents.
Display of List of those cases passed or pending or rejected with reasons for rejections on Notice Board of the PRO Office, Jammu besides on Official Website.
