| DDC Baramulla chairs public grievance redressal camp at Uri | |  Baramulla, March 24, (Scoop News)- The District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Naqash, today convened a public darbar at mini-stadium Uri to redress public grievances.
SDM Uri, CMO, CEO, Executive Engineers, Representatives of Trade Federations, and a large number of people were present on the occasion.
During the redressal camp, issues relating Health, Water Supply, Power Supply, Traffic management, Ration and LPG supply were also discussed.
On the occasion, various public deputations apprised the DDC about various problems being confronting them. The DDC gave a patient hearing to all the deputations and directed the concerned to address the genuine concern of the people on priority.
He said that the district administration is committed to provide better facilities to the people of the district and every possible support will be provided to the unemployed youth for their welfare.
He said that the Government has launched various welfare schemes and programmes for the people, especially for economically weaker and vulnerable sections of the society. He said that people should come forward and avail the benefits of these development programmes.
The DDC also directed the officers to gear up and ensure that the demands of the people are addressed at the earliest.
