| Inter school debate competition at Aishmuqam | |
Anantnag, April 18, (Scoop News)- For good ideas and true innovation, you need human interaction, conflict, argument, debate. To nurture the same thoughts in young minds an Inter-School Debate Competition was conducted by Army at Khannabal. Eight schools from all across the Anantnag district participated in the competition. The event saw huge success amidst the ongoing turmoil in the valley. The competition was conducted in juniors and seniors categories.
In the end, the Principal, Army Goodwill School Aishmuqam thanked the participating students as well as the audience. The competition was followed by distribution to prizes to the winners. Relevant books were also gifted to the participants to inculcate the habit of reading in them and assisting them in personality development. The event is being seen as a major step towards assisting youth in career building and personality development and creating a strong bonhomie between the local youth and Army.
