| Bhim demands imposition of Governor rule in J&K | |
Jammu, April 18, (Scoop News)-Chief Patron of National Panthers Party Prof.Bhim Singh on Tuesday demanded Governor rule in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a press conference in Jammu, Bhim Singh urged the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee to invoke Section 92 of J&K Constitution to impose Governor Rule in the State of J&K which is passing through a hell and the people of J&K are facing death and destruction because the BJP-PDP government in J&K has ceased to exist for nearly one year.
NPP Supremo also appealed the students and the youth of Kashmir Valley to give Govt. of India a chance to withdraw guns from the Valley of Kashmir and ensure that peace returns to the bleeding Valley of Kashmir. Prof.Bhim Singh appealed the students and youth in the bleeding Valley of Kashmir to give some chance to the President of India to dismiss the present government, impose Governor Rule in the State of J&K and stop bloodshed and rule of guns.
Prof.Bhim Singh also appealed to the political activists including the Hurriyat Conference to ensure that human life is not lost and justice may return to every citizen of India residing in the State of J&K. Addressing a press conference at Jammu Press Club today Prof.Bhim Singh declared that if Governor Rule is not imposed the Panthers Party shall file another writ petition in the Supreme Court of India seeking its intervention directing the President of India to impose Governor Rule. President of India is the only competent authority to impose Governor Rule in J&K within the meaning and scope of Section 92 of J&K Constitution as the situation has been paralyzed and the children of the State in J&K are facing death and destruction at the hands of BJP-PDP government.
Prof.Bhim Singh also urged the Governor, Shri N.N. Vohra to declare election to the Legislative Council held a day before as void, unconstitutional and corrupt. He also demanded dissolution of the State Assembly without any delay.
Prof.Bhim Singh visited Kud-Batote area in Jammu province where more than one lac local residents/shopkeepers/youth/daily wagers have been rendered jobless because of the Chenani-Nashri Tunnel which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi on April 3, 2017. Prof.Bhim Singh assured the suffering people of the area that Kud-Batote shall be exposed to the world as one of the leading tourist centres like Switzerland or Yugoslavia.
