SK Bala Army camp organizes a trek for students


Bandipora, May 17, (Scoop News)-To instill in the children love and respect for the mother nature and savour the beauty of wilderness, a trek was organised for the students of Chewa High School by SK Bala Army camp on the slopes of Dau Khan ridge in Ajas. Over 30 students walked hand in hand with the soldiers for more than 2 hours along the forest till they reached a clearing with a small spring.

Fun activity such as basic gymnastics and other outdoor games were also organised for the boys who enjoyed every moment they spent with Army. The adventure started at around 9 AM and the trekkers reached the clearing where they enjoyed a sumptuous meal organised by the Army. Mr Gulam Nabi the teacher who accompanied the students appreciated the efforts of Army which he said not only gave the kids an opportunity to have a feel to be with nature but also to bond with their soldiers.
