| Questioning credibility of Army operations unpatriotic :Hindu Mahasabha | |
Jammu, May 27, (Scoop News)-Given the developments in Kashmir and the increasing ceasefire violations coupled with Pakistani Border Action Team’s misadventures during the last few weeks, the Army had to be given a free hand to tackle the situation and send powerful counter operations to teach the enemy a lesson and this time the nation has witnessed a positive response . Pakistani cover fire to pump in terrorists had been a routine for the past many years and it was now that the Army launched secret operations to destroy the notorious Pakistani posts close to the border in Nowshera. But to justify and bring to public domain their action, they had to air a Video, which though shut the mouths of political parties, was unfortunate as challenging the credibility of Army operations was painful and unethical. Earlier also, there was much noise over the most successful surgical operation in which scores of Pakistani Army men were killed. Inspite of celebrating this achievement, the political zealots in the opposition made it a political issue and exploited it for many days. Their rhetoric’s will defame their own Army more than their political opponents, these evil minds should have known.
During the last three days, there have been further attempts by the malicious and demonic Pakistani Border Action Team to infiltrate militants via Rampur and Uri to cause destruction but the BAT was mistaken about the alertness of Indian Troops, this time. Two infiltrators were gunned down with their bodies lying in No man’s land. During the last 24 hours, as many as 10 militants have been eliminated by the Army in Kashmir (6 in Rampur, two in Uri and two in Tral, Pulwama district of South Kashmir). Sabzar Ahmed, dreaded militants who succeeded Burhan Wani following his elimination in 2016 carried a bounty of 10 lacs on his head and was reportedly an expert in social media flashes, was eliminated by the Army in a very special operation carried out on the basis of specific intelligence input. This is undoubtedly a very big achievement for the Army and needs to be lauded all out. Things as per my mind are very clear that the Army operation might have been a confidential one without any kind of support or pat, the success benefit as such should go to them only, said Seema Mahajan of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha. None should try to have credit, particularly the political parties, who are no way connected to the working of defence forces and have been downplaying the performance of soldiers, whenever out of power.
Political interference in the sphere of functioning of Armed Forces is unwarranted and unexpected. Army is accountable to none other than their own hierarchy in their missions on the borders when the country is under threat of attack from the enemy. It is for the forces to assess and act as per the situation. While on internal security, the forces should have the leverage, more particularly in a situation when the militants are attacking their convoys, patrolling parties and camps killing and injuring jawans. Those seeking clearance on the surgical strike and big bang operations to uproot pro-infiltration camps of the Pakistani Army, can never be termed as loyalist Indians. They are rather the worst kind of anti-nationals for whom there should be no shelter on this land. The secessionists who claim no allegiance to India and are waging war against the country where they themselves live and feed their families, should be isolated. Legal proceedings should be initiated against them to deter them and in case of no change shown the exit door.
