APHC appeals international bodies on rights violations to take note of worsening situation in Valley
alleges ruling PDP has become weak and vulnerable





Srinagar, July 22, (Scoop News)-APHC said on Saturday the incident at Gund, Ganderbal where policemen were allegedly beaten by the army personnel, brings once again to fore the worsening situation in Kashmir where even those who are the state’s own agencies and at the forefront of following the state’s .

APHC spokesman said that since the government of the state has remained of no consequence for the people of Kashmir and the ruling regime especially the PDP has completely lost any faith that people had in it and become extremely weak and vulnerable; to stay in power.

Whereas New Delhi sees oppression as the way to Kashmir resolution, it has given unbridled power to the army to raise its ‘morale’ and an absolute freedom from accountability through laws like AFSPA under which they enjoy impunity.

The spokesman further alleged that so far not a single soldier has been even brought before the Court of Law, let alone punishing him. Probes ordered time and again and the commissions probing serious cases of human rights violations, are just eyewash to ensure no solider is convicted.

The spokesman urged the world forums, international bodies on rights violations, to take note of instilling of fear by govt forces among the local populace, so that a pressure is built on New Delhi to end its growing war crimes in Kashmir....
