| Kailash Yatra begins in Bhaderwah | |  Bhaderwah, August 18, (Scoop News)- Charri Mubarak of Holy Kailash Yatra 2017 left for its destination of Kailash Kund from the ancient Vasuki Nag Temple Gatha Bhaderwah here today.
The Yatra crossed the Bhaderwah town at 9 am where the enthusiastic devotees raised slogans of Vasuki Nag deity.
MLA Daleep Singh Parihar and MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta accompanied by CEO Bhaderwah Development Authority Bal Krishan, who has also been nominated as Yatra Officer for all yatras taking place this month, ASP Shahzad Salaria, SDPO Brijesh Sharma, Tehsildar Masood Ahmed, SHO and others tehsil officers besides large number of local people accorded a warm send off to the pilgrims.
The yatra after having a night stay at Hayan (Nalthi) will reach the holy Kailash Kund tomorrow on 19th August 2017. After performing pooja and other religious rites, the yatra will start its return journey to Bhaderwah on 20th August 2017.
The administration of Bhaderwah has made elaborate arrangements of Medical team with sufficient medicines, first aid, drinking water, electricity through generator sets, firewood and all other allied facilities including fool- proof security arrangements for smooth conduct of the yatra.
