| Congress demands ex gratia relief and compensation to all those who suffered due to Pak shelling | |
Jammu, September 18, (Scoop News)-JKPCC has expressed deep Shock over the killing of a woman in Arnia and injuries to several others in the Pakistani shelling on Sunday.
Condemning strongly Pakistan for continued ceasefire violations targetting civilian areas, JKPCC chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma, has blamed Pakistan for the tension between two countries and causing casualties of civilian people.
He also questioned Modi Govt. for its utter failures to succeed in marginalizing Pakistan in international community and showing the broad chest to that country, as he (Modi Ji) used to oftenly announce when he was in opposition.
Sharma said BJP and Modi ji used to term UPA Govt. as week even if some rare incident of firing would happen but when it has become a regular phenomena and record number of ceasefire violations and casualties have happened in three years what's the response of Modi government.
He questioned and asked for effective measures to prevent the killing of our civilians and jawans who are getting martyred in large number.
Spokesman said that the life of border residents all along Jammu and Kashmir has become very vulnerable and they are constantly living in fear and panic. The BJP government has failed to provide shelter in safer zones to the border residents, as committed by the BJP and Modi Ji.
Sharma expressed deep sympathies with the family of the deceased and prayed for early recovery of the injured. He demanded ex-gratia relief and compensation to all those who suffered in terms of life and property in the shelling.
