| Prof. Sharma compliments students of Poonch Campus, JU | |
Jammu,September 19, (Scoop News)- Prof. R. D. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu today complimented Prof. M. A. Malik, Director, Poonch Campus and the students of the Post Graduate Department of Sericulture, Poonch Campus, University of Jammu who participated in the recently organized “Sangam-Chenab Valley Youth Festival 2017-18” by the Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu in collaboration with Indian Army at Bhaderwah.
Complimenting the students for their achievement, Prof. Sharma hoped that in future also, the students will make the Campus and the University proud by excelling in all fields. Prof. Sharma wished them good luck in their future endeavours.
Six students of the Poonch Campus, University of Jammu participated in different events and achieved eight positions and four medals viz 3rd position carrom male (Sumit Kumar&Waseem Akram) and female (lalita Sharma&Abilasha Sharma), 3rd High jump female, 3rd 100m Race female, 2nd long jump female, 2nd jevlin throw female (Subita Devi), 1st Solo Singing (Waseem Akram) and 1st Clay modeling (Sushil Kumar) and medals was for 1st & 2nd positions i.e 2 gold & 2 silver.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, teacher incharge also accompanied the students.
