| NSUI accords warm reception to Firoz Khan on his maiden visit to state after being appointed as national president of Congress party's student wing | | 
Jammu, November 9, (Scoop News)-A grand reception was accorded to the Fairoz khan on his first visit to his home state after becoming national president NSUI. The reception was given by PCC J&K, PYC J&K, Mahila Congress and NSUI J&K.
Hundreds of Congress leaders, workers , youth congress worker, Mahila congress worker NSUI activists gathered at airport Jammu and welcome Fairoz Khan by garlanding and beating drum from where the reception rally in the form of procession starting from airport on bikes proceed to PCC office through Main Bazar. During the procession , the reception team led by Neeraj Kundan (state president NSUI J&K) and several other NSUI leaders.
The main function was held outside PCC office near Shahedi Chowk at Jammu. The proceedings of the programme was conducted by Adv. Iftikhar Ahmad(All India election commissioner NSUI & IYC)

The programme started with welcome address by sh. Neeraj Kundan (State president NSUI J&K) Udhay Chib (national gen sec. Incharge Delhi), sh. Vishal Chowdary(National Sec. NSUI from Harayana) also spoke on this occasion.
Gulam Ahamad Mir (president PCC J&K) while addressing the gathering congratulate Fairoz Khan on being appointed as a national president, he also thanked sh. Rahul Gandhi (vice president AICC) who appointed a boy from far flung area of Pogal Paristan (Dist. Ramban) and appointed him as national president NSUI.
Fairoz Khan is the first one from J&K state to be appointed as national president NSUI which clearly reflect the vision of Sh. Rahul Gandhi who has open the door of politics to the youth of common family and Fairoz Khan is the source of inspiration for all youth of J&K. He also assured full support on behalf of JKPCC.
Sham Lal Sharma (sr. vice president JKPCC), while speaking on the occasion said that NSUI is the nursery of congress party who has given leader to the congress party and Fairoz Khan is one among them. He said that it is the victory of the vision of Rahul Gandhi who has introduce democratic system in the organisation. It is the need of the hour to unite and fight against the communal forces of the country.
Shahnawaz Choudhary (gen. sec. JKPCC) while speaking said that it is the first time the student leader from J&K to be appointed as a National President. He was appointed as a National Gen. Sec and he has created second line leadership. He thanked Rahul Gandhi for appointing a common youth as a president NSUI.
Fairoz Khan (national president NSUI) while addressing the gathering firstly thanked smt. Sonia Gandhi, Sh. Rahul Gandhi who have given me a responsibility to led the world largest student organisation. He also thank PCC , youth congress and NSUI activist who whole heeartedly support and gave warm reception, he further asked students to follow the footsteps of Rahul Gandhi and join NSUI. He further said that he will visit all districts of J&K and will interact with student of the state. He further said that sh. Shahnawaz Choudhary whole heartedly support me during my journey and guide me from time to time.. ... |
