| Tourist Police helps Indonesian girl Kamran to track down her Face Book friend | | Malla of Sumbal, refused to leave airport with two ‘unknown’ youth of Badgam |
Srinagar, November 22, (Scoop News)-When Hasnaeni Kamran, a 35 year old girl came all the way from Indonesia to meet her Face Book friend Zulfikar Malla of Sumbal- Sonawari in north Kashmir, she was taken aback on seeing some other persons at the airport to receive her instead of her FB friend.
Kamran, who landed at Srinagar Airport on late Monday noon and was surprised to find two unknown youth, Mukhtar Hussain and Nazir Hussain hailing from the central district- Badgam to receive her at the airport. However, she refused to go with them as both of them were hitherto unknown to her. Also she had no prior information about their presence at the airport.
According to sources, she told the tourist police posted at the airport that her boy friend was expected to welcome her here and she didn’t know the persons who had come to receive her. Kamran was taken to Tourism Department managed police station at Srinagar. After seeking some relevant information about her friend, she was shifted to a known houseboat for overnight stay.
During nightlong scrutiny by the cyber wing of the police, the officials succeeded in tracing the actual person and download complete details about him. He was identified as Zulfikar Malla of Sumbal- Sonawari in Bandipora district. Tourist police summoned Malla to Srinagar where they handed over Kamran to him.... |
