Educated unemployed pushed to wall due to Lack of viable job policy: Jan

Jammu, December 16, (Scoop News)-Youth National Conference Provincial President Mr Ajaz Jan on Saturday lambasted PDP-BJP government for pursuing anti-youth policies in Jammu and Kashmir, saying that shrinking of jobs has pushed educated unemployed to wall.
Speaking at a function, held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bbhavan here this afternoon to welcome youth activists into Youth National Conference, Mr Jan said that nepotism and favoritism has become official policy of the insensitive government, as a result of which meritorious and eligible candidates are being ignored. This has brought the state to a piquant situation wherein youth are finding their future bleak, he added.
Mr Ajaz Jan said that unemployment is one of the burning issue in the state, which calls for a multi dimensional approach of government to tackle the burgeoning problem.
"Due to lack of direction, the recruitment agencies are moving in a snail’s pace for filling up the vacancies", Mr Jan said, adding that the so-called fast-track recruitment of the present government has proved yet another hoax.
On this occasion, a number youth from different areas of Jammu joined Youth NC. Welcoming the new entrants, Mr Jan said this will further reinvigorate the youth movement, enable youngsters to play their designated role for betterment of the state.
