Jan cautions people against diversionary politics of PDP-BJP
Says Govt has failed on all fronts


Poonch,January 12, (Scoop News)- Youth National Conference Provincial President Mr Ajaz Jan on Friday cautioned people against diversionary tactics of PDP-BJP coalition to hide its failures on governance, administrative and developmental fronts and referred to one after another controversy being generated to whip up passions.



“Engineering divide among people is a tested tool of the insensitive coalition and this is needed to be fought by maintaining unity at all levels”, Mr Jan said while addressing a public meeting at Poonch Mandi area of Poonch this afternoon.



Mr Jan said the state in general and border areas in particular have suffered as a consequence of developmental inertia of the present dispensation, which has nothing to offer to the people other than indulging in rhetoric and mere propaganda. He particularly referred to the tall claims about development in Poonch and said the ground zero reflects quite contrast of what the government says.



The former MLA lambasted the coalition government for failing in fulfilling the promises during elections and said it has nothing to showcase as achievement during the past three years. The coalition ministers, he said, have mastered in running paper tigers but they must realize that they cannot hoodwink the public opinion any more. The coalition government is totally exposed before the people, as the wheels of development have altogether halted, he said, adding the work culture in the administration across the state has received a huge dent.



Mr Ajaz Jan regretted that except for increasing CD fund of the legislators and hiking their salaries, the coalition government has done nothing for people. He said promises made with the employees and other categories of workers engaged across the state have not been fulfilled.



Speaking on the occasion, several National Conference functionaries highlighted the problems faced by the people.



The speakers made a mention of non-performance of the government and referred how the people of several villages including Dunugham collected funds on their own and resumed works on vital road projects after concerned departments failed to do so during the past three years.
