After remarks on Govt’s failure, Tassaduq Mufti should resign on moral grounds: Vakil
PDP BJP Government have forfeited and lost the moral right to continue in the Government: Vakil

Srinagar,April 15, (Scoop News)- President Jammu and Kashmir Bachao Tehreek and former minister Abdul Gani Vakil today said that Tassaduq Mufti should step down as a minister on moral grounds after he made honest remarks about the failure of their government with BJP. Mr Vakil asked Tassaduq Mufti why he continues to remain as a minister when he has accepted that “PDP and BJP have ended up being “partners in crime”. He said that it is very unfortunate that neither he nor his sister or his party translated such words into action and again preferred to stick to the power. Vakil added, not to talk of any other person at least Mr.Tasaduq Mufti should have displayed tangible courage and should have preferred his resignation from the cabinet in protest because at the end of the day he is enjoying cabinet berth and Legislator status directly because of BJP’s support.

Former Minister said merely and casually saying “ended up being partners in crime (for which) an entire generation of Kashmiris might have to pay with their blood” , is unpardonable and words have been uttered by him only to display a political gimmick with the intention to befool people of J&K and exploit their sentiments.
President J&K Bachvo Tehreek also said that if Mr.Tasaduq Mufti really feels that ruling alliance, is not trusted by anymore then what is the fun of continuing with the unholy and unhappy alliance despite such endorsement.
He said that both PDP and BJP have forfeited and lost the moral right to continue in the Government and rule the State besides both these parties need to do some “deep introspection” as the basic principle and democratic aspect to govern the State stands defeated in view of the acknowledgement of facts by their own minister.
