PCPG meeting held at Police Station Pantha Chowk

Srinagar, April 19, (Scoop News)-A PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at Police Station Pantha Chowk.
With an aim to strengthen relations with public & also to establish first hand contact with masses, Police Station Pantha Chowk convened a public interaction meeting in which dozens of people from all walks of life participated.
The meeting was chaired by SDPO Pantha Chowk Shri Mir Ejaz Ahmad accompanied by SHO Pantha Chowk Inspector Mehboob Ahmad.
In the meeting many issues were discussed especially issues related to drug menace in Khanmoh area, reservation of seats for women in buses, illegal parking of vehicles especially trucks on main road in the area and issues pertaining to the civil administration like demand of public transport facility on Zewan & Balhama roads etc.
Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SDPO Pantha Chowk and SHO concerned assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. They also sought the cooperation of participants in fighting social crimes.
The meeting concluded with the vote of thanks.
