| Cabinet ups salary of LAHDC, Leh and Kargil Councilors | | Cabinet also approves 7th Pay Commission for Govt. employees | Leh, April 24, (Scoop News)-The State Cabinet which met at Jammu Secretariat today sanctioned revision of the salary and allowances of the Councillors of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Councils, Leh and Kargil with effect from 8th July, 2016, viz., the date from which salary and allowances of the Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor & Executive Councillors had earlier been revised by the Government.
Chering Dorjay, Minister for Ladakh Affairs and Cooperatives has expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister and other Cabinet colleagues who unanimously supported the proposal moved by him for enhancement of the Salary of Councillors retrospectively from 8th July 2016.
Meanwhile, the State Cabinet also approved the implementation of 7th Pay Commission with effect from 1st January, 2016. Chering Dorjay, Minister for Ladakh Affairs and Cooperatives has congratulated all Government employees of the State on the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission.
