JKPCC questions BJP for violating security norms by carrying out unauthorised construction by its leader's firm
near an army ammunition depot near Nagrota

Jammu, May 14, (Scoop News)-Congress has questioned Modi Government and BJP high command for its eerie silence over the serious issue of violations of security norms while carrying on an unauthorized construction near Army Ammunition Depot Nagrota, despite serious objections by Army Authorities, besides making highly irresponsible and objectionable remarks by Dr. Nirmal Singh, presently speaker of the State assembly, against the Indian Army, when asked to desist from violating norms.

Reacting to the series of media expose about the involvement of a Company owned/partnered or having direct interests by top BJP brass including present Dy. Chief minister and BJP MP, for acquiring huge loan from J&K Bank presently declared NPA, using their influence and having purchased huge chunk of land near sensitive location of Army Ammunition depot Nagrota, JKPCC leader, Ravinder Sharma, questioned the BJP government at the centre and BJP high command for maintaining eerie silence over this serious issue and failure to take action against its leaders especially in the wake of highly insensitive remarks against Army.

When the authorities of the State government slept over the sensitive matter the top authorities of the Army directly communicated their objection citing the violations of relevant norms, which were not only ignored but Nirmal Singh reacted in a most insensitive and irresponsible manner against the Army in the media, which has sent a very wrong signal and his statement is being exploited by the anti-India forces having been from a person sitting on a highly responsible and respected constitutional institution.

The criminal silence of the Modi government and BJP high command and failure to take action shows that they can go to any extent to shield their own party men. In the light of facts which have come to light while demanding immediate appropriate action against the arrogant and irresponsible leaders of their party, involved in the illegalities, failing which Sharma said that BJP leadership would face the music.

He also questioned whether any building permission in the matter was sought in view of serious objection of Army and violation of the relevant norms and whether or not it was done under pressure or purely favoritism.

Sharma also sought an enquiry by an independent agency into the entire land episode including the huge advancing of loans by J&K Bank to the high profile company which has turned NPA for the bank.

The poor unemployed youth, small business man and farmers have to run from pillar to post to get meager loans from the Bank and in default of repayment, the banks chases them to the last, but why no adequate action has been taken in the regard.
