| Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah condole demise of Sagar’s brother-in-law | | Omar participates in funeral prayers |
Srinagar, May 16, (Scoop News)- National Conference President and member Parliament of Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah on Saturday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Sajad Ahmad Kawa, brother-in-law of party General Secretary Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar.
Sajad Ahmad passed away in the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday at SMHS after a brief illness.
Both leaders paid glowing tributes to the departed soul and prayed that Almighty grants strength to the family to bear this inconsolable loss. In his condolence message, Dr. Farooq Abdullah extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, party Working President Omar Abdullah prayed for peace to the departed soul. He participated in Nimaz e Jinaza prayers and was accompanied by party provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani.
The deceased was also the maternal uncle of YNC provincial president Salman Ali Sagar and partys Additional Provincial Spokesperson Sara Hayat Shah.
