Tributes paid to Late Mirza Afzal Beg and Late G. M. Shah
Fateha Khwani held at Anantnag and Srinagar


Srinagar, June 11, (Scoop News)-National Conference on Monday paid glowing tributes to its veteran leaders, Late Mirzal Afzal Beg and Late Ghulam Mohiuddin Shah on their death anniversaries. Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Vice President Mr. Omar Abdullah, General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Senior Leaders and Legislators of the party highlighted the exemplary contributions of both stalwarts to the party and the people of the State and pledged to draw inspiration from their selfless work and service.

On this occasion NC General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar led a delegation of senior party leaders including NC Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Senior Leaders Mubarak Gul, Ali Muhammad Dar, Irfan Ahmed Shah, Muhammad Sayeed Akhoon, Showkat Ahmed Mir, Peer Muhammad Afaq, Muhammad Yaseen Shah, Ghulam Rasool Naaz, Sardar Jagdish Singh Azad and Ghulam Nabi Bhat and offered floral tributes at the grave of Late Khwaja Ghulam Mohiuddin Shah at graveyard Ziyarat Syed Muhammad Mantaqi (R.A.) at Chattabal. Congregational Fateha was offered on this occasion and senior party leaders highlighted the contributions of Late G. M. Shah to the party and the people of the State.

In Sarnal, Anantnag Senior Party Leaders led by NC South Zone President Dr. Bashir Ahmed Veeri and including MLA Pahalgam and District President Anantnag Altaf Kaloo, MLA Homshalibug and District President Kulgam Abdul Majeed Larmi and Vice Provincial President Dr. Muhammad Shafi offered floral tributes at the grave of Late Mirza Muhammad Afzal Beg. Congregational Fateha was also offered on this occasion. The Party Leaders while paying glowing tributes to the Late Party Stalwart recollected his vast and exemplary contributions to the State and said his legacy would live for ages to come.

Party Leaders, Legislators and Office Bearers have paid glowing tributes to the Party Stalwarts on their Death Anniversaries.
