JKPCC urges Modi to act against faithless Pakistan

Jammu, June 13, (Scoop News)-Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress committee (JKPCC) has strongly condemned Pakistan’s treacherous attitude in resorting to heavy shelling today morning despite DGMOs commitment to maintain ceasefire and expressed shock over martyrdom of Four BSF personnel at Chamliyal in Ramgarh Sector, on Wednesday morning.

In a strongly worded statement, JKPCC chief G.A. Mir and other senior congress leaders said that Pakistan’s cowardly acts need to be condemned in the strongest possible words, as it has time and again resorted to treacherous acts of ceasefire violations, despite commitments at DGMOs levels and announcement for observing the ceasefire agreement of 2003 and maintaining calm on the borders.

Pakistan’s repeated treacherous acts during the holy month of Ramadan also shows that it is taking advantage of lack of clear policy of Modi Government towards Pakistan, to deal with it effectively and in an appropriate manner to silence it and maintain peace on borders, despite unscheduled visit to Lahore.

Record number of ceasefire violations during the past four years and large number of casualties of our Jawans and civilians is a live example of the failure of Modi government to deal with Pakistan. There is lot of anger amongst the border residents and genuine concern of all country men over the unabated Pak shelling and heavy casualties on our side during the period.

The Modi Govt. is answerable to nation for failure to handle Pakistan and deal with it in the appropriate manner, so that the bloodshed and causalities of our jawans and civilians could be stopped.

Other signatories to the statement included Raman Bhalla, Mula Ram, R.S. Chib, Thakur Balwan Singh, S. Manjit Singh, Shabir Khan, Ch. Shahnawaz, Ch. Gharu Ram, Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat and Parkash Sharma. ...
