Javed Rana urges Islamabad, Delhi to resume dialogue on Kashmir | | Mendhar, June 13, (Scoop News)- Senior NC leader and legislator Javed Ahmed Rana today urged both India and Pakistan to immediately start structured dialogue on all bilateral issues especially on Jammu and Kashmir to end frequent bloodshed and butchery of innocent people on both side of LoC and IB in the State. The former Deputy Chairman of J&K legislature was reacting to unprovoked killing of four Border Security Force personnel in firing on border and five others injured in Ramgarh and Chambliyal sectors of Samba in Jammu on Wednesday. He said killings have once again shattered the rickety 2003 ceasefire, which top army officials of both India and Pakistan recently agreed to respect and uphold. The exchange of fire is also a set back to political process of dialogue and temporary suspension of operations. Referring to unending killings on both sides of border as greatest human tragedy in the region, Rana accused leadership of both India and Pakistan for playing politics over dead bodies of their citizens along LoC. Meanwhile, Rana, while condemning the Wednesday's killings, condoled with the bereaved families and expressed sympathies.
