| Kathua police foiled bovine smuggling bid, 12 animals rescued | |
Kathua,June 16, (Scoop News)- Continuing its endeavor to thwart the evil designs of the bovine smugglers, Police Post Marheen on the directions of SSP Kathua succeeded in foiling bovine smuggling bid and rescued twelve bovine animals.
Acting swiftly on specific informations , a team of Police Post Marheen today in the wee hours established checkpoints at village banyari .
During checking police seized truck bearing registration number JK02AH 5977 illegally carrying bovine animals. In this process Police saved twelve bovine animals being smuggled in the truck.
Accordingly police registered case FIR no 147/2018 under section 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act .
Further investigation into the case is going on. People in general widely appreciated action of Kathua Police.
