| Arrangements finalized for annual Urs of Baba Hyder Reshi (RA) | |
Anantnag, , July 10, (Scoop News)-District Development Commissioner Anantnag Mohammad Younis Malik today held a meeting to finalize the arrangements made in connection with the celebration of 453rd annual Urs of Saint Baba Hyder Reshi (RA) to be held here from July 12th.
The DDC directed Municipal Committee (MC)Anantnag to ensure proper sanitation in and around the shrine and also directed for installation of more street lights and dustbins. The Exn PDD and AEE PHE were asked for uninterrupted power and water supply and installation of DG sets.
CMO and ARTO Anantnag were directed for the establishment of medical aid camp with adequate medicines and availability of ambulance, and proper traffic regulation on Ziyarat road and to ensure one-way traffic during the Urs days.
AD, FS&CA, Fire & Emergency department were directed for the supply of ration, K-Oil and installation of fire high dental and fire pump to avoid any incident. The DDC also directed for procuring of additional DG set to augment the electricity facility for the shrine.
The administrator Waqaf informed that the Urs celebrations will commence from 12th of July 2018 and Shab Khawani will be held on the night of 15th July 2018.
Officers from Police department, PHE, PDD, FS&CA, MC, Fire & Emergency services administrator waqaf and mujawairs of ziyarat sharif Baba Hyder Reshi RA were among others who attended the meeting.
