| Speaker reviews functioning of Assembly Secretariat | |
Srinagar, July 10, (Scoop News)- Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Dr Nirmal Singh, today chaired a meeting to review the functioning of Assembly Secretariat.
Taking a detailed review of the working of Legislation, Accounts and other Sections of the Assembly Secretariat, the Speaker discussed various issues with regard to the working of different sections. He called for prompt disposal of the cases and sought suggestions to further streamlining the functioning of Legislative Assembly Secretariat.
The concerned officers of various sections of Assembly Secretariat apprised the Speaker regarding the working of their respective sections.
Taking cognizance of various issues highlighted in the meeting, Dr Singh sought suggestions from the concerned for the overall improvement of Secretariat functioning.
Secretary, Legislative Assembly, Rattan Lal Sharma, Additional Secretary, LA, Naseem Jan besides other senior officers of Assembly Secretariat were present in the meeting.
